Dream Sling Rentals Optional Damage Waiver

THIS DAMAGE WAIVER IS NOT INSURANCE. PURCHASING THIS DAMAGE WAIVER IS OPTIONAL AND NOT REQUIRED IN ORDER TO RENT A POLARIS SLINGSHOT FROM DREAM SLING RENTALS (DSR). The terms of this damage waiver are subject to our Rental Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use.

For an additional fee payable to Dream Sling Rentals, you may purchase a damage waiver to cover applicable damages to the rented Polaris Slingshot during the rental period.

Dream Sling Rentals agrees, subject to the exclusions listed below, to waive your responsibility for any physical damage to the Polaris Slingshot occurring during the rental period if you subscribe to the damage waiver option at the time of initiating the rental. You understand and agree that under Dream Sling Rentals’ rental agreement and policies, any fees or expenses due to damages that are not covered by this damage waiver will be charged to and are immediately payable to Dream Sling Rentals by the Borrower.

Exclusions:

The damage waiver does not apply or is invalid where:

• The damage is caused by:
  1. Borrower’s intentional, willful, wanton, or reckless conduct;
  2. Operation of the Polaris Slingshot while under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
  3. Use of the Polaris Slingshot in a manner that violates federal, state, or local law;
  4. Borrower’s failure to exercise ordinary care to prevent damage while in possession of the Polaris Slingshot;
  5. Racing or competitive use of the Polaris Slingshot;
  6. Use of the Polaris Slingshot on unpaved roads or off-road terrain not suitable for the vehicle.
• The Borrower takes the Polaris Slingshot outside of the agreed-upon rental area or outside of the state of New Jersey;
• The Borrower provided fraudulent information to Dream Sling Rentals;
• The Borrower refuses to reasonably cooperate with Dream Sling Rentals, insurance companies, or governmental entities in the investigation or recovery of the Polaris Slingshot reported by Borrower as damaged under the damage waiver.
• Loss and theft are not covered under this damage waiver, and the borrower is responsible for paying the full replacement value of the Polaris Slingshot if it is lost or stolen during the rental period.

Additional Terms:

1. The Borrower must still comply with all terms of the rental agreement, including the requirement to use 93 octane (super) gasoline.
2. The damage waiver does not cover any fines, traffic violations, or legal fees incurred during the rental period.
3. The Borrower is still responsible for returning the Polaris Slingshot with a full tank of gas, or paying the additional $5 per gallon fee as stated in the rental agreement.
4. This damage waiver does not cover damage to any personal belongings left in the Polaris Slingshot.

By purchasing this damage waiver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. Dream Sling Rentals reserves the right to modify this damage waiver policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on our website and will apply to rentals made after the change is posted.
